Due to our continued growth, our advertising and content team need another Graphic Designer to join them. If you've got solid design skills and love digital advertising and creative social media content then this position is for you.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' commercial design experience with at least 1 of those years in an agency. You must be competent with both digital and traditional media design; although the role is predominantly focused on our design for social media content and advertising.
As a Graphic Designer at April Ford you'll work on a variety of projects. Whilst there's some fun stuff like designing and creative Facebook ads and YouTube videos, then there's also the not so glamours 45-page capability statements. You'll need to be able to take the good with the bad all whilst maintaining the same high level of enthusiasm and creativity irrespective of the job.
Whilst we have a Creative Director and Art Director, there are no big egos in this building. Your creative input is both respected and expected. The Content and Advertising Account Managers and Production Manager will keep the clients at bay so you can focus on designing and delivering incredible work.
Delivering creative outcomes within the confines of a client brief is a must. You must be comfortable with the high paced nature of agency work, including hitting unmovable deadlines, working as part of a team, and be able to take constructive feedback.
You will need to have completed a University degree and are extremely experienced in Adobe Creative Suite. AF is a very process-orientated agency. Checklists, deadlines and task completion are the foundations of our agency.
